Well Made

About

A quiet argument for buying less, and better.

Well Made is a personal index of the things I use every day and would happily buy again. Nothing here is sponsored. Nothing is chosen because it's new. The only criterion is whether an object is genuinely, durably good: the kind of thing that quietly improves the years you spend with it.

I'm drawn to makers who sweat the details most people never notice: the density of a knit, the geometry of a coffee cone, a welt that lets a boot be repaired instead of replaced. Good design rarely shouts. It just keeps working, and ages well.

This is a living collection. I add things as I find them and trust them, and I leave out far more than I include.
